Incorporation of at least one hindered amine light stabilizer ("HAL") compound having a hindered phenol group and a piperidine ring or oxo-piperazinyl ring, provided that each such ring has a hindered amine, at the N4 position in the ring, that is of tertiary functionality, into polyacetal homopolymer compositions improves the UV stability, and does not significantly degrade the melt processing thermal stability, of said composition. Incorporation of (a) a HALS compound having an s-triazine group, along with a piperidine ring or an oxo-piperazinyl ring, (provided each such ring has a hindered amine at the N4 position in the ring), and (b) a HALS as described in the preceding paragraph into polyacetal polymer compositions improves the UV stability, and does not significantly degrade the thermal stability of said composition. The composition of the present invention are useful in polyacetal applications where enhanced UV stability is desired.
