Disclosed is a .beta.b crystalline form of an ivabradine formula (I) (see formula I), HCl characterized by its X-ray diffraction pattern. The invention also provides for use of .beta.b crystalline form of ivabradine chlorhydrate as drug with bradycardiac properties or for the treatment or prevention of myocardial ischemia, associated heart rhythm disorders or heart failure.
L'invention concerne la forme cristalline .beta.b du chlorhydrate de l'ivabradine de formule (I) (voir formule I), HCl caractérisée par son diagramme de diffraction X sur poudre. L'invention vise également l'utilisation de forme cristalline .beta.b du chlorhydrate de l'ivabradine en tant que médicament ayant des propriétés bradycardisantes ou pour le traitement ou la prévention d'ischémie myocardique, des troubles du rythme associés ou de l'insuffisance cardiaque.
