PRE-HUNG DOOR INSTALLATION APPARATUS ABSTRACT This invention relates to an apparatus for installing a pre-hung door unit including a door frame and a door hingedly connected to the door frame, the apparatus including a body having a door edge portion connecting device for removably connecting the body to an edge portion of the door and a frame connecting device connected to the door edge connecting device for removably connecting the body to an inwardly facing portion of the door frame. There is also provided a pre-hung door installation tool for use with a pre-hung door unit, the tool being connectable to respective frame members on opposite sides of the door to enable an installer to transport and manipulate the door into position.
