The invention relates to a snow canon comprising at least one water/air nozzle (12, 12') for ejecting a water/air mixture (M). The inventive snow canon is developed in such a way that it comprises at least one jet pump (10, 10', 10'') which is operated by means of water (W) as a driving medium, and mixes the air (A) with the water (W) and compresses the air in order to form the water/air mixture (M) which is supplied to the at least one water/air nozzle (12, 12'). The invention also relates to a corresponding method for operating one such snow canon. The invention enables unused energy which is converted into heat in snow canons according to prior art, to be used in a particularly effective manner.

L'invention concerne un canon à neige comportant au moins une buse à eau/air (12, 12') destinée à expulser une mélange eau/air (M). Le canon à neige selon l'invention est caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte au moins une pompe à jet (10, 10', 10'') faisant intervenir de l'eau (W) en tant qu'agent propulseur et mélangeant et comprimant de l'air (A) avec de l'eau (W) de manière à former le mélange eau/air (M) alimenté à la ou les buses à eau/air (12, 12'). L'invention concerne également un procédé d'utilisation d'un tel canon à neige caractérisé en ce qu'il permet d'employer de manière avantageuse l'énergie habituellement produite par des canons à neige et transformée en chaleur perdue.
