Viscometer ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION A process for the preparation of dynamically vulcanized thermoplastic elastomer is provided. The process is characterized by the use of an on-line viscometer to measure/monitor the viscosity of the dynamically vulcanized thermoplastic elastomer products. Data from the on-line viscometer is used for quality control purposes, and may also be used for process control. The use of a restriction- type viscometer is preferred, because this type of viscometer is readily adapted to an on-line configuration.
