A method of plant gene transfer is provided which includes microprojectile bombardment using DNA directly isolated from a donor plant. Also provided are transgenic plants, cells and tissues thereof and progeny plants derived therefrom, the genomes of which have significant introgressions of the donor plant genome integrated therein.
L'invention concerne un procédé de transfert génétique de plantes consistant à bombarder des microprojectiles à l'aide d'un ADN directement isolé d'une plante donneuse. Font aussi l'objet de cette invention des plantes transgéniques, leurs cellules et leurs tissus ainsi que leurs descendances, les génomes de ces plantes présentant des introgressions du génome de la plante donneuse qui y est intégré.
