There is provided burette apparatus having a delivery tube (14) connecting a fluid bag (10) a burette assembly (15), via a fluid entry spigot (16) formed in an end cap assembly (17) of the burette assembly (15), the end cap assembly (17) having a bypass spigot (21) connected to the delivery tube (14) and usually closed by clip (23), to allow an override for adding liquid to the burette. The end cap assembly (17) closes the upper end of a transparent, cylindrical burette body (31), into which extends a stainless steel tube extension (32) of the fluid entry spigot (16), the lower end of the burette body (31) being closed by a lower closure assembly (33) having a check valve (34, 35) and a drip chamber (36). An outlet tube (40) passes from the drip chamber (36) to the patient via regulating clamp (41). A float assembly (42) is located in the burette body (31) including an extension rod (45) provided with a resilient cup (50) adapted to engage the open end of the stainless steel tube extension (32).
La présente invention concerne un dispositif de burette comportant un tube d'arrivée (14) reliant, par un embout (16) formé dans un ensemble couvercle (17), une poche de fluide (10) à un ensemble burette (15). L'ensemble couvercle (17) comporte un embout de dérivation (21) piqué sur le tube d'arrivée (17) et normalement fermé par un étrier (23),cette dérivation constituant une alimentation secondaire permettant de compléter le niveau de liquide de la burette. L'ensemble couvercle (17) ferme l'extrémité supérieure du corps (31) cylindrique et transparent de la burette. Un prolongement tubulaire en acier inoxydable (32) traverse ce couvercle dans la suite de l'embout d'entrée de fluide (16), et pénètre dans le corps (31) de la burette. Le fond du corps de burette (31) est fermé par un ensemble fermeture inférieure (33) pourvu d'un clapet de non-retour (34, 35) et d'une chambre compte-gouttes (36). Un tube de sortie (40) partant de la chambre compte-gouttes (36) arrive jusqu'au patient après avoir traversé un étrier régulateur (41). Un ensemble flotteur (42) situé dans le corps de burette (31) comporte une tige (45) pourvue d'une calotte élastique d'équilibrage de pression (50) conçue pour entrer au contact de l'extrémité ouverte du prolongement tubulaire en acier inoxydable (32).
