A method for enhancing performance of an endoscope (212) for use with a body lumen that has not been suffi-ciently cleaned for viewing with the endoscope (212), including assembling an endoscopic device (100, 400) to an endoscope (212), the endoscopic device (100, 400) including a washing member (201, 404) that provides a flow of cleaning fluid for clean-ing a body lumen, and a suction member (206, 406) for draining material from the body lumen, and causing fluid to exit the wash-ing member (201, 404) into the body lumen to clear debris away from a path of the endoscope (212) so that the endoscope (212) can view the exposed body lumen, and draining at least a portion of the debris through the suction member (206, 406).

L'invention concerne un procédé visant à améliorer les performances dun endoscope (212) destiné à être utilisé avec une cavité corporelle qui na pas été suffisamment nettoyée pour être examinée à laide de lendoscope (212), le procédé comportant les étapes consistant à monter un dispositif endoscopique (100, 400) sur un endoscope (212), le dispositif endoscopique (100, 400) comprenant un organe (201, 404) de lavage qui fournit un flux de fluide de nettoyage servant à nettoyer une cavité corporelle, et un organe (206, 406) daspiration servant à évacuer de la matière de la cavité corporelle, et à faire sortir le fluide de lorgane (201, 404) de lavage dans la cavité corporelle pour dégager des débris dun parcours de lendoscope (212) de telle sorte que lendoscope (212) puisse examiner la cavité corporelle exposée, et à évacuer au moins une partie des débris à travers lorgane (206, 406) daspiration.
