In the thermalplastic film manufacturing industry, as the plastic is formed in the forming machine, it is wound on cores generally made of aluminum or stainless steel. The standard machinery manufactures plastic film in three different lengths. Once the film has been wound around the core to a sufficient sizer it is cut and then moved to a storage and transportation device. It has been difficult to keep an inventory of such devices due to the fact that different rolls require different lengths of storage devices. The present invention therefore overcomes this problem by creating a storage and transport device which is capable of adjustment in order to accommodate all three of the normal widths of film.
