A method for image processing of a digital image comprising the steps of determining one or more sets of pixel characteristics; determining for each pixel characteristic set, an image editing function; providing a mixing function algorithm embodied on a computer-readable medium for modifying the digital image; and processing the digital image by applying (22) the mixing function algorithm based on the one or more pixel characteristic sets and determined image editing functions. Various mixing function algorithms are described. An application program interface embodied on a computer-readable medium comprising a first interface to receive the coordinates of the image reference points, and a second interface to receive the image editing function is also provided. The application program interface may represent the image reference points by a graphic tag (10).
L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de traiter une image numérique qui consiste à déterminer au moins un ensemble de caractéristiques de pixels; à déterminer pour chacun de ces ensembles, une fonction d'édition d'images; à produire un algorithme de fonction de mélange intégré dans un support lisible par ordinateur en vue de modifier l'image numérique; et à traiter l'image numérique par l'application (22) de l'algorithme de fonction de mélange sur la base d'au moins un ensemble de caractéristiques de pixels et de fonctions d'édition d'images déterminées. L'invention traite de divers algorithmes de fonction de mélange. Elle concerne également une interface applicative intégrée sur un support lisible par ordinateur comprenant une première interface pour recevoir les coordonnées des points de référence d'images, et une seconde interface pour recevoir la fonction d'édition d'image. L'interface applicative peut représenter les points de référence d'images par une étiquette graphique (10).
