Abstract A collapsible chaise longue has an under part (1, 2) to be positioned on the ground and an upper part supported by the under part and having longitudinal sides consisting of three section parts (21, 21, 41). These section parts are connected through hinges and form a back rest end portion (3), a central portion (4) and a leg support end portion (5). The central portion (4) of the chaise longue is adapted, when in use, to be positoned inclined to the horizontal in order to obtain a comfortable position for the user.
