TUBE CUTTING GUIDE Abstract of the disclosure A tube cutting guide for cutting a tube such as a conventional cardboard tube with a knife such as a conventional utility knife, the knife having a pencil-like handle and a blade projecting longitudinally from the handle. The guide allows for circumferential and helicoidal cutting as well as longitudinal splitting of the tube. The guide has a hollow cylindrical body and a set of radial slots extending radially through it. Each one of the slots is configured to fittingly receive the blade of the knife. In operation, the tube being cut is adapted to be inserted in the cylindrical body and the latter is adapted to be moved relatively to the tube while the blade is inserted in one of the slots so that the blade will cut through the tube.
