Disclosed herein is a lateral monitoring and/or control system. The system includes at least one splitter (12) having a lateral bore (18) and a main bore (14) , at least one control line at the splitter and at least one of a choke module, monitoring module, flow venturi module and a control module disposed in operable communication with the lateral bore and outside of the main bore. Further disclosed herein is a method for controlling and/or monitoring of a multi-lateral well system. The method includes installing one or more splitter in a borehole, installing at least one control line to communicate remotely with each of the one or more splitters selectively communicating with one or more of at least one of a monitoring module, control module, choke module and flow venturi module.
La présente invention décrit un système latéral de surveillance et/ou commande. Le système comprend au moins une colonne de séparation (12) comportant un puits latéral (18) et un puits principal (14), au moins une ligne de commande au niveau de la colonne de séparation et au moins un parmi un module à étranglement, un module de surveillance, un module venturi et un module de commande disposé en communication utilisable avec le puits latéral et l~extérieur du puits principal. L~invention décrit en outre un procédé pour contrôler et/ou surveiller un système de puits multilatéraux. Le procédé comprend l~installation d~une ou de plusieurs colonnes de séparation dans un trou de forage, l~installation d~au moins une ligne de commande pour communiquer à distance avec chacune des colonnes de séparation communiquant sélectivement avec un ou plusieurs parmi au moins un parmi un module de surveillance, un module de commande, un module à étranglement et un module venturi.
