ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Process for the production of azatetracyclic compounds of the formula Image (I) wherein X represents oxygen or sulphur and R1 stands for a lower alkyl, or lower alkenyl or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, such com- pounds having a central-depressant and agitation-inhibiting action con- nected with cataleptic effects of a very low extent only these properties rendering the new compounds suitable as tranquillizing, antipsychotic and agitation-inhibiting substances.
