TITLE OF THE INVENTION: Rotary Head Assembly ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: In a rotary head assembly for magnetic recording and reproducing apparatus such as VTR, fluid or hydraulic radial and thrust bearings are provided between a stationary sleeve whose one end is closed fluid-tightly and a rotary shaft rotatably extended into said stationary sleeve, whereby the rotary head assembly may be made compact in size and easy to assemble, may rotate with a higher degree of reliability and may completely seal lubricant. - 1 -
