HOSE CLAMP ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A hose clamp with a unitary deformable ear of approximately U-shape which upon deformation contracts the clamp to fix the hose onto a nipple; to preclude any non- tightness in the clamp within the area of the gap of the band underneath the ear, the ear is provided with an elastic insert that is displaced into the gap to prevent any outward displace- ment of the hose into the gap.
