ABRASIVE FLAP WHEEL HAVING ANGLED FLAPS Abstract of the Disclosure An improved abrasive flap wheel is comprised of an annulus of like-oriented radially disposed slotted angled flaps of coated abrasive sheet material adhesively fastened together at adjacent inner ends and held between opposed side plates. Each side plate has a flange portion seated in respective opposed grooves defined by the slots and located on either side of the annulus concentric with the axis of the rotation of the wheel. The flaps are disposed at an angle in the range of about 20° to about 60° with respect to the axis of rotation of the abrasive wheel.
