PARTITION SYSTEM ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The specification discloses a partition system for subdividing large rooms or work areas wherein shelving support apparatus may be selectively incorporated between or at the ends or sides of the individual panels without physical modification or alteration of the panels. The panel connection apparatus includes spaced apertures which are used alternately with securing fasteners depending on the inclusion or removal of the slotted or other shelf supports. The outward appearance of the panels themselves remains unchanged regardless of whether or not the shelf supports are included. If desired, the system may include a panel wedging system for firm, secure support such as that disclosed in commonly assigned Canadian Patent Application No. 192,737, filed February 18, 1974. -1-
