Abstract of the Disclosure The specification describes a new hand caster for a fishing line which is formed integrally with a light source. The light source fomrs the handle of the caster and is adapted to house batteries and a light source such as a light bulb. The end of the tubular handle housing the light bulb is formed to receive the casting head which is rotatably mounted thereon. The handd caster may be adapted to receive other hand casters on which are wound fishing line of varying tensile stengths.
