CASCADING-WATER, LEAD-ACID STORAGE BATTERY NEUTRALIZATION, FORMING AND CHARGING APPARATUS Abstract of the Disclosure An apparatus for producing batteries having plastic cases wherein a plurality of sets of batteries are placed in a plurality of portable tubs, each tub being held in a frame. The frame is adapted to support the tubs so that each tub, which is filled with batteries, is easily moved about the forming room floor or alternatively posi- tioned at different heights above the floor. The frames are adapted to facilitate stacking of the frames with tubs and batteries in a vertical array. The tubs are provided with means for aligning the batteries within the tub and spacing them from the bottom of the tub so that, when water is intro- duced into the tub, it is allowed to flow around the sides and bottom of each of the batteries. Each of the tubs is equipped with overflow and draining means for allowing the cooling fluid to pass either to the next adjacent tub or, alternatively, be drained for removal from the apparatus.
