FLUID FLOW REGULATING VALVE ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: A valve for controlling the rate of flow of a fluid, particularly oil for an electric cable, in which a cavity in a valve body is subdivided into two compartments by a flexible membrane assembly which has a valve element which controls oil flow through an opening in a wall of the second compartment. Fluid under pressure is supplied to the first compartment. The position of the valve element depends on the ratio of fluid pressures in the two compartments which is controlled by a further manually settable valve element in a conduit interconnecting the first and second compartments for fluid flow. The further valve element controls laminar flow of the fluid through an opening in the path of fluid flow through the conduit.
