ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An inflatable protective cushion for positioning around a ski lift support pole comprises a completely flexible hollow inflatable member having an outer wall and upper and lower end portions and devices for attaching the same to the support pole. Oppositely disposed portions of said inflatable member outer wall arranged to extend between said upper and lower portions for partial engagement about the support pole and devices holding said oppositely disposed portions in engaging rela- tion and a source of fluid pressure for inflating said inflatable member. This invention is distinguishable from others by reason of the oppositely disposed portions of the outer wall about the support pole so that the pole is enclosed by the cushion in a wrap around manner. -2-
