ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention relates to a new process for the preparation of certain 2-acylamino-benzylamine derivative having interesting pharmacological properties, in particular an antiussive and respiration stimulating activity. The new process comprises the N- alkylation of the corresponding secondary benzylamine compounds. Examples of the preparation of certain 2-acylamino-benzylamine derivatives by means of the new process are given.
