PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION : L'invention concerne un procédé de préparation d'halogénoacétals d'aldéhydes; éthyléniques de formule générale (I) Image (I) dans laquelle X est le chlore, brome ou iode, R1, R2, R3, R4 et R5, identiques ou différents, sont un hydrogène, alcoyle, n est égal à 0, 1, 2, 3 ou 4 et R6 est alcoyle. Selon ce pro- cédé on fait réagir un cation halogène Cl+, Br+ ou I+ sur un ester de formule générale (II) Image (II) dans laquelle les symboles sont définis comme précédemment et R est alcoyle, en présence d'un alcool R6OH. Les produits de formule générale (I) sont utiles comme agents de synthèse en chimie organique; ils peuvent en particulier être utilisés pour introduire un motif aldéhydique .alpha.,.beta.-éthylénique sur un reste mono ou polyénique.
