According to the invention, when the rear face is vertical, the mouth of the bucket is contained inside a plane forming an angle with the horizontal, and the front face comprises, adjacent its edge, a part which is substantially perpendicular to the mouth plane, of height depending on the depth of the bucket. The invention finds an application in handling installations.
