ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A cross-stranding machine useful in fabrication of low cross-talk communication cables provides means for transposition of the wires or pairs. The structure provides a faceplate rotatable about its axis through which the wires are led prior to being fed to the cable forming die. A pair of rollers located between the faceplate and the die bias the wires outwardly, and then inwardly relative to a line joining the axis of the faceplate and the die, whereby the transposed positions of the wires are reliably set.
