DIAPER WITH ELASTIC FASTENER ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A disposable diaper comprising, an absorbent pad assem- bly having opposed surfaces, a pair of side edges, and a pair of end edges connecting the side edges. The diaper has a tape fastener comprising, tape means having a first portion secured to one of the surfaces of the pad assembly, a securement portion for attachment to a spaced portion of the diaper, an extensible portion connecting the first and securement portions, and elas- tic means constraining expansion of the extensible portion.
