"SELF-TRAINING BELT TROUGHING IDLER" ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This invention relates to a novel and improved self-training idler assembly characterized by a supporting frame and a troughing idler subassembly mounted for pivotal arcuate movement about a vertically- disposed axis which is centered midway between the sides of the supporting frame, such troughing idler subassembly being offset from the vertical axis of pivotal movement a substantial distance therefrom in the direction of movement of the material-carrying run of the conveyor belt.
