PORTABLE EMERGENCY LAMP ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A portable emergency hazard lamp particularly useful for highway transport vehicles which suffer faulty hazard lights. A lamp is provided which is applicable by mere surface contact with the vertical surface of the truck, without the need for under-vehicle or highway repair by the vehicle operator by night or in inclement weather. For this severe vibrational use on a vertical or generally vertical curved surface the lamp has means for adhesion on its rear which is at least twenty times the weight of the lamp and has its center of gravity when applied to a vertical surface about one-quarter the distance forward of the rear adhesive surface.
