ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: Apparatus for discharging and/or distributing liquid media in other liquid media, having a virtually horizontal manifold and a plurality of discharge conduits which depend from said manifold, characterized in that the discharge conduits comprise discharge tubes, which are open at both ends and are liquid-tightly fitted in and depend from the manifold, and each of said tubes has a top end disposed in the upper portion of the manifold and at least one lateral opening disposed above the joint between said tube and the manifold, and whereby hoses of differing length are fitted on the lower ends of the discharge tubes and have outlet openings which are substantially uniformly distributed over the cross-section of flow of the other liquid medium. And a process for discharging and/or distributing a first liquid medium in another liquid medium.
