ABSTRACT The invention provides a novel accelerator combination for amine-cured epoxy resins. The accelerator combination com- prises N-aminoethylpiperazine and an alkanolamine, preferably triethanolamine. Optionally, the accelerator combination also includes piperazine. The presence of the N-aminoethylpiperazine greatly reduces the tendency of the accelerator toward crystalliz- ation. The accelerator combination also shows a synergistic effect on the curing rates of epoxy resins.
