PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION: La présente invention se rapporte à un procédé de préparation d'esters d'éthyle ou d'isopropyle par réaction en phase liquide de l'oléfine correspondante sur un acide carbo- xylique. Le procédé consiste à réaliser l'estérification de l'éthylène ou du propylène, en phase liquide, en présence d'au moins un catalyseur de formule: Cn F2n + 1 SO3H dans laquelle n est un entier supérieur ou égal à 1 et inféri- eur ou égal à 8. Le procédé convient notamment pour la fabrica- tion de l'acétate d'isopropyle, du monochloroacétate et du monochloropropionate d'éthyle.
