ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE High temperature resistant polymers containing methylene groups attached to at least one monovalent or bivalent aromatic ring ( - Image wherein R is hydrogen, an alkyl, alkylene, aryl or arylene group) are made more effective at even higher temperatures against thermal oxidative degradation by incor- porating small quantities of special antioxidant stabilizers therein either singly or in combination, to result in novel and unobvious compositions.
