Il se caractérise par le fait que l'on met en oeuvre des additifs à base d'alcényl succinimides obtenus par condensation d'une polyamine sur un anhydride alcényl succinique dont le radical alcényle contient de 3 à 100, de préférence de 3 à 80 atomes de carbone. Ce procédé s'applique en particulier au renforcement du caoutchouc.
