ABSTRACT The following specification discloses a process of conformation and adherence of metallic tape to curved surfaces such as wooden frames or ledges. The process includes the steps of pressing the tape to the frame surface by means of elastic rollers having widths of roller surfaces at least equal to the tape. The shape of the frame to be metallised is subdivided into sections to allow the process to be carried out by progressive juxtapositioning of the tapes one after the other to insure that the metal of the tapes overlap.
