A b s t r a c t Process for the continuous preparation of trimethylol- alkane allyl ethers Trimethylolalkanes can be etherified with allyl chloride in the presence of aqueous sodium hydroxide solution if the ether to be produced is initially introduced into the reaction chamber and the trimethylolalkane, the aqueous sodium hydroxide solution and the allyl chloride are added at such a concentration that sodium salts of the trimethylolalkane do not precipitate.
