ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A twin slewing crane mounted on a twin crane founda- tion. The twin crane comprises two individual cranes each having a luffing jib capable of being raised and lowered with hoisting ropes running to the jibs from winches. Each of the cranes is mounted on a supporting means rotatable around a common vertical axis and at the same distance from it. Each crane has a rotating mechanism meshing into a common fixed gear ring on the twin slewing crane in order to provide a rotating movement around the common vertical axis allowing the cranes to work singly or in pair. The crane is characterized in that the supporting means, through an axle device and at least two bearings of one of the cranes, is coupled to and mounted on the supporting means of the other of the cranes.
