ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The disclosure describes a process for the preparation of a light-sensitive silver halide photographic material comprising a support, a silver halide emulsion layer and a non- light-sensitive hydrophilic colloid layer which consists essen- tially of a plurality of layer elements. The process comprises incorporating, into at least one of the elements, oil particles so that the oil particle density of the outermost layer element, if present, may not be the highest among the oil particle densities of the elements. This process enables to obtain a non-adhesive light sensitive material, which does not cause any so-called sweating. The process enables a reduction in the amount of a surface active agent or an antistatic agent to be added. Finally, the light-sensitive agent produced by this process shows less variation with time in surface properties. Light-sensitive silver halide photographic material produced by this process.
