PROCESS FOR THE HIGH YIELD PREPARATION OF TRANS-STRUCTURE POLYMERS OF CONJUGATED DIOLEFINS ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This invention relates to a process for the preparation of trans- structure polymers of conjugated diolefins and more particularly to the catalyst system consisting, in combination, of one or more vanadium compounds soluble in the reaction solvent, one or more halogenated organo-aluminium compounds and one or more organic compounds, whose molecule contains the CX3 group, in which X is hydrogen or halogen, whereby homopolymers and copolymers are obtained in which the internal double bonds of the component units are substantially all of trans-structure.
