Abstract of the disclosure: Novel, valuable, brown 1:2-chromium-mixed-complex dyestuffs of the two monoazo compounds of the formulae (1) and (2) Image (1) Image (2) wherein R1 is hydrogen or nitro, R2 is lower alkyl, chlorine, nitro or lower alkoxy, R3 is hydrogen, lower alkyl or lower alkoxy and R4 is hydrogen or chlorine, had been found which are well suitable for the dyeing of natural and synthetic polyamide fibers, especially in a mixture with hydrophobic fibers, and yield even, strong dyeings of high fastness to wet processing and use as well as to light. The novel mixed complex dyestuffs can also advantageously be used for dyeing together with other 1:2-chromium or 1:2-cobalt complex dyestuffs containing one or two sulfonic groups per dyestuff molecule. - The novel mixed complex dyestuffs can be prepared by chroming the equimolar mixture of the two metalfree azodyestuffs mentioned above by means of a chromium-yielding agent.
