TRAP FOR ANIMALS Abstract of the Disclosure A trap for animals comprises a pair of pressure members each in the form of a rectangular frame with elongated sides and a plurality of parallel bars, the bars of one member being interspaced with those of the other member to prevent disengagement. These members are pivotally mounted on a base to form a triangular passage. The base also consists of a frame having elongated sides and a plurality of parallel bars extending therebetween. Springs act between the base and pressure members to urge them from an up- to a down-position. A locking device, including a portion for carrying bait, so as to be releasable by an animal in the passage, normally keeps the members in their up-position. When released the members move down and retain the animal in the passage.
