ABSTRACT An X-ray photographing and developing apparatus is disclosed for servicing a work place adapted to take roentgenograms The work place comprises a picture amplifier, a television recording camera coupled to the picture amplifier and a work place monitor coupled to the video output of the camera. There are several work places and a central video distributor for receiving video cables from the recording cameras of the work places. The video distributor comprises an output coupled through a cable to a second monitor arranged in a central photo- graphing unit. A lens-shutter assembly is arranged before the screen of the second monitor, and an unexposed film is guided in the image plane of the assembly. The central photographing unit is coupled to the respective work places through cables for transmitting signals corresponding to the engagement condition and to exposure parameters, and the central photographing unit comprises a storage place for un- exposed films and a storage place for exposed films. A film changing device is arranged between the storage places comprising pairs of rollers, and the storage place for the exposed films is connected through a planar film changing device comprising transport rollers to an automatic developing apparatus.
