ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An improved railway rolling-stock bogie-truck and the method of manufacturing same are provided ; the truck comprises a cross beam and a pair of spaced longitudinal side beams with a central bearing support ; more particularly, the portions of the cross beam and each side member, on the one hand, and of the bearing support and the cross beam, on the other hand, which are to be connected, are in mutual alignment or co-extension, and assembled according to the butt welding technique ; the side members have an asymetrical cross-sectional configuration.
