Abstract of the Disclosure A process is disclosed for the production of vinyl chloride poly- mers modified with aromatic polycarbonate and for use as thermoplastic mould- ing componds having high dimensional stability to heat and high impact strength. The process is characterised in that mixtures of olefinically un- saturated monomers containing at least 70% by weight of vinyl chloride are polymerised by radical polymerisation in the presence of aromatic polycar- bonates, 0 - 100% by weight of rubber or rubber-modified thermoplastic resin, based on the polycarbonate-modified vinyl chloride polymer, being added before or after polymerisation.
