REMOVABLE ONE-PIECE DRIVE RIVET Abstract A removable one-piece plastic drive rivet for use in a work piece including a head having a bifurcated shank depending therefrom and a drive pin. An axial bore traverses the head and shank and is adapted to accept the drive pin. The head includes means to permit axial flexing thereof and the shank has exterior shoulder means intermediate its length. The shank adjacent its juncture with the head is substantially relieved on its outer diameter in quadrature to the bifurcation which permits radial flexing of the shank. The drive pin includes thread means thereon and means extends into the shank bore which are adapted to engage the thread means. Means are provided internally of the bore for engagement with the drive pin to expand the shank at its free end opposite its juncture with the head, the drive pin has means for rotation thereof to permit removal by engagement of the thread and bore means.
