ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE There is provided a new and improved method and apparatus for use with submersible pumping systems. In this system, a coiled tubing is connected directly to the downhole apparatus and an unarmored power supply cable is maintained within the coiled tubing. The coiled tubing, with the unarmored cable therein, is utilized to lower and retrieve the downhole apparatus without applying tension to the power supply cable.
