Abstract of the Disclosure Glucose polymers having an average chain length of 3 - 8 units are added to an electrolyte solution which nor- mally has a saline taste in an amount to substantially dis- guise the saline taste of the electrolyte solution. Prefer- ably, the polymer is added in an amount in the range of 15% to 50% by weight and the electrolyte solution contains the usual chloride salts of calcium, magnesium and potassium with the solution having a pH in the range of 3 - 6. -1-
