-15- TITLE: CORROSION INHIBITION IN WELL-DRILLING OPERATIONS USING AQUEOUS SYSTEMS CONTAINING AMMONIUM CARBOXYLATES ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: Certain salts of polycarboxylic acids and amino com- pounds are useful as corrosion inhibitors in aqueous systems used in well-drilling operations. Typical such corrosion inhibitors are made from acids such as sebacic and azelaic acid and amino compounds such as ammonia, ethanol amine, di- and tri-ethanol amines and N,N-diethyl-ethanol amine.
