ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention relates to tools for testing fault indicators of the kind and character disclosed in my U.S. Patent No. 3,906,477, issued September 16, 1975. The fault indicator includes a magnetically operable reed switch to be positioned in the magnetic field generated around a conductor carrying alternating fault current and a resetting circuit to reset an indicator. The tool has a unitary structure which includes a winding to be positioned generally parallel to the reed switch to close the switch when energized and an oscillator to operate the resetting circuit.
