ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: A medicinal composition useful for the treatment of cellulitis. This composition consists of a xanthic base as a phosphodiesterase inhibitor and a fluorinated compound selected from the group consisting of an alkali metal fluoride, alkaline earth metal fluoride and ammonium fluoride, the inhibitor being present in about 0.1 to 60 % by weight of the inhibitor plus fluorinated compound. The composition which may also comprise theophylline, thiomucase or hyaluronidase, can be in the form of dosage units for topical, injection or ionization local administration.
